Mark Richardson’s career, rooted in dedication to quality and efficiency, spans over 20 years in the heavy diesel industry, with 20+ years spent working extensively on Scania vehicles. He began his journey at Scania Perth as a Breakdown and Field Service Technician, honing his skills in diagnostics and on-the-spot repairs for two years. His natural leadership abilities led to a promotion to Workshop Supervisor, a role he held for seven years, overseeing teams and ensuring operations run smoothly. Mark’s expertise and commitment to excellence earned him respect as a leader in his field.
Seeking greater challenges, Mark became the National Mining Aftersales Manager at Scania, working with major mining clients across Australia. In this role, he developed tailored solutions
to meet the complex needs of the mining sector, deepening his understanding of large-scale fleet management. These years of hands-on experience and strategic insight prepared Mark for his
next chapter: launching his own business. His vision for West Fleet Care is built on this foundation of expertise, aiming to provide high-quality, cost-effective services to Perth’s heavy diesel industry.
